Quincy’s Squantum peninsula first hosted pilots for the 1909 Harvard Air Meet and by the 1930’s it was the nation’s first naval reserve aviation training center.  But because of heavy air traffic, the navy moved inland to South Weymouth Naval Air Station.  This book covers everything from biplanes to blimps to bombers as it presents naval aviation on the South Shore.  128 pages, 195 Black and White photographs.
